Weekly Challenge: Radiated Brute!!

For those of you still in the dark, each week @splinterlands will host 3 weekly challenge which is the Battle Challenge, Social Media Challenge, and the Art Competition challenge, and everyone is welcomed to join in 2 weekly and get some delicious Hive upvote! So without further ado, let's jump to it!

Another Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge! This week challenge features the mighty RADIATED BRUTE!! Make sure to join!

This common fire unit is a new addition with the CL expansion, and basically is a semi-tank melee with Reach, allowing it to attack from the second position. He starts of with 2 Melee damage at level 1, pair this with Malric or Tarsa and it's a whooping three. It's even better than the same 5-mana cost yet only 1 attack point Giant Roc. Thus being my new go-to semi tank in almost all Fire match.

23 Mana, No Heal, Close Range, with only 3 Splinters available. By watching through this seemingly bot opponent match history I was pretty confident he will do an Earth Magic spam and thus my lineup:

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Yes, it worked well. Enemy magic had a hard time to melt down Tusk, which in the meantime allows Tenyii and Serpentine Spy to do their job.

Do you like the Radiated Brute? Why or why not?

Better and cheaper alternative to Giant Roc, my previously go to Reach monster for Fire. Having this new Radiated Brute was such a nice game-changer. He is still behind Fineas Rage imo, but still cheaper both $$$ wise and Mana cost wise so there's that to consider.
