Trying to reach my work office through huge snow today

The first day after Ortodox Christmas in Serbia is January 8th, people need to go to their work after a day off because of the Christmas but this morning I went out of my flat early , it was 5 am, because I need more than hour to reach my office ,but this morning I went earlier because I knew it is snowing so in advance I knew I will need more time.

There was 30 cm more snow than previous day.

El primer día después de la Navidad ortodoxa en Serbia es el 8 de enero. La gente tiene que ir a trabajar después de un día libre por la Navidad, pero esta mañana salí temprano de mi piso (eran las 5 de la mañana) porque necesito más de una hora para llegar a la oficina. Salí antes porque sabía que iba a nevar, así que sabía de antemano que necesitaría más tiempo.

Había 30 cm más de nieve que el día anterior.

I struggled through the snow from home to the main bus station. We live on a hill, so I have a lot of stairs uphill. It's a bit funny, but I fell on the way, even my phone fell in the snow, so now my pictures are a little blurry.

Me costó mucho caminar entre la nieve desde casa hasta la estación principal de autobuses. Vivimos en una colina, así que tengo que subir muchas escaleras. Es curioso, pero me caí en el camino; incluso mi teléfono se cayó en la nieve, así que ahora mis fotos están un poco borrosas.

I was afraid that the buses would not run regularly, because when the snow started falling a few days ago, the buses could not get through and everything was halted. However, this morning I was lucky, I caught both buses on time, I was only 5 minutes late for work. We will see after 8 hours how it will be on the way back because the snow is still falling.

Temía que los autobuses no funcionaran con regularidad, porque cuando empezó a nevar hace unos días, no pudieron pasar y todo quedó paralizado. Sin embargo, esta mañana tuve suerte: llegué a tiempo a los dos autobuses y solo llegué 5 minutos tarde al trabajo. Ya veremos después de 8 horas cómo será el regreso, porque sigue nevando.

I am writing this post from my work office, while observing the snow outside.Just wanted to share my experience with you and snowy landscape.

Estoy escribiendo este post desde mi oficina de trabajo, mientras observo la nieve afuera. Sólo quería compartir con ustedes mi experiencia y el paisaje nevado.
