Electric Hookup North Peru...Fun Times(not)

So I had to build a new place to live here in north Peru which wasn't that big of a problem seeing as how my occupation has been construction for my working career. However, electricity hook up is a whole different story.
We had the building done and ready for living in one month, not to everyones standards...but its livable for the moment while we make improvements, yet we had to wait for electric hook up. The electric hook up took two months to wait for, which shows you it can be quite a process here in South America. Today out of nowhere we got lucky.

When you see this truck it means action is being taken. Just to let you all know we had to buy the whole crew ceviche last week to get the approval for the hook up. You gotta do what you gotta do. Lets check out the process.

First question I get is do you have wire, conduit, and galvanized steel pipe...all of which I am responsible for supplying as a home owner here. So I answered yes and we moved forward.

Everything is looking smooth for the moment. Which is quite rare here in the southern hemisphere. It looks like Joanie the puppy is feeling a little stressed. She is hiding out from the workers.

Lets get back to the action and get this project finished.
