Hive Open Mic week 318 || Lion and the Lamb by Pst. Chingtok Ishaku || covered by @sampraise77

Hello friends on Hive, I welcome you to Hive Open Mic week 318, I'm sampraise77Hive account@sampraise77 and for this week choice of topic, I will do a rendition of a song titled Lion and the Lamb by Pst. Chingtok Ishaku
The song really looks up to God, showing how much it respects and adores Him for how truly unique He is. It tells us He's above everyone and everything – all the powerful people, rulers, and authorities – making it clear that nobody else even comes close to Him in terms of glory, wisdom, strength, or holiness. The main point here is God's greatness and how one-of-a-kind He is, staying the same through all generations. It's basically a statement of faith, saying God lasts forever, is always reliable, and is in charge of everything He created.

When the song talks about God as both a lion and a lamb, it's showing us two different sides of who He is. The lion stands for majesty, power, victory, bravery, and His role as King. It paints a picture of God being incredibly strong and unbeatable, someone who fights for His followers and rules with total power. This shows how He can beat darkness, get rid of evil, and make things fair. Then there's the lamb, which represents being humble, making sacrifices, being gentle, merciful, and offering redemption. It highlights how God shows His love by making sacrifices and having deep care for people. Put together, these two symbols perfectly show how God is both strong and gentle. He's powerful enough to run the whole universe, but also loving enough to save and look after all of us.

Calling Him "the expression of the Father" in the song really shows His divine power and who He truly is. It tells us that God perfectly reveals what the Father thinks, what He wants, and what He's like to humanity. Through Him, folks can grasp spiritual truths, feel grace, and find salvation. This highlights how close God is to His people, because He's not far away or hiding; instead, He's revealed and easy to reach.

Something else important in the song is how God never changes. People, situations, and even the seasons are always changing, but God stays true forever. His promises always come true, His character never gets weaker, and His power never fades. This gives people who believe a lot of confidence, hope, and a sense of safety, especially when things get tough. The song encourages us to fully trust and give ourselves over to Him because the God we worship is eternal and someone we can always count on.

All in all, the song is a really powerful way to worship, showing how great God is, celebrating His loving sacrifice, and reminding believers that He's always faithful and supreme.
