The inspired picture

Greetings!

One thing about picture is that it speaks volume and memory to us more than anything else. Whenever I check my phone to see pictures, there's this one picture that I always love to see and that is the senate building of my school where Great Ife was inscribed on.

This boldly written “Great Ife” on the wall of my university senate building which was situated at the heart of the university is not just a picture to me, but a caption that really inspires me when I was on campus.

The picture of the school senate and the inscription was not just a picture to me like I said earlier, but a picture that helps me see the greatness in me and this is because of how we used to be referred to as the Great Ife students.

Also, looking at those who passed through the school and doing great in their various endeavors, I used to be like the greatness of this school is not only in the inscription on the wall of the senate building, but also in the culture of the great institution of learning.

Furthermore, the way the school always makes us believe in ourselves through the Great Ife is not just ordinary. No wonder it used to be like we are indoctrinated into the greatness of the school whenever we have the freshers orientation program at the beginning of every session.

At every freshers orientation programs, the newly admitted were always made to believe that they are born great and that coming to the Obafemi Awolowo University would only help them to achieve and actualize their greatness.

So, seeing this particular picture on my phone always endeared me to the school and not only that, the inscription written on the wall of the school Senate building always renewed that hope and spirit of greatness in me.
