Are demons truly present in our world? Many people believe they are. According to this belief, demons are spiritual beings that exist beyond what our physical eyes can see. Though invisible, they are thought to be active across the earth. The Bible gives insight into this idea, especially in the book of Job, where Satan tells God that he has been moving to and fro throughout the world. This suggests that Satan and his forces are not confined but operate freely, influencing events and people in unseen ways.

As spiritual beings, demons are believed to affect the physical world even though they remain hidden. While humans cannot see them, it is often said that they can see us. This highlights the belief that the spiritual realm has a strong influence over the physical realm. Many people point to the growing level of wickedness, violence, and moral decline in society as evidence of this unseen activity.

In today’s world, we see a lack of respect for human life, increasing disobedience, and actions driven by selfish or harmful desires. Some attribute these behaviors to negative spiritual influence. Even the rejection of the message of Jesus Christ is, by some, seen as a result of spiritual blindness caused by these forces.

Despite all this, there is hope. Believers are encouraged to remain grounded in the word of God and to live according to His teachings. By doing so, they believe they can resist evil influences and overcome spiritual oppression. Holding firmly to faith is seen as a way to experience freedom, peace, and protection, even in a world where darkness may seem present.
