It's been a while ...

Can't believe how long it's been since I posted on here. When I left off we were heading into a hot summer, Christmas time, and an impending house move, so I had my hands quite full with paperwork and packing. The move was huge and took all of December and January, but was mostly smooth sailing. We arrived at our new house and immediately fell in love with it.

And that lovely visiting cat I was sad to say goodbye to? We officially adopted her and she moved with us ❤️ She's now a fulltime indoor cat with two outdoor enclosed catio areas - one to the verandah and one outside to a grassed area. She's living her best life and is safe from busy roads.

After we moved things got super busy with work, study, and graduating Uni. We then had a very sad year with family illnesses. I lost my Grandma and my Mum just months apart. It was hard to even get through the days at first, and until recently I've had absolutely no motivation to pick up blogging again - or the housework, or gardening, or my journaling, or anything really.

So where are we now? Doing much better, the foggy grief days still pop up every now and then, but they're easier to deal with. We're happily settled into our "new" home. Life is good and I'm hoping to pick back up blogging about it.
