She doesn't know that time is a thief,
that steals moments,
the laughter shared,
warm hugs,
and that instead, leaves alone
the cold of absence,
a bottomless abyss,
a labyrinth with no way out.
Like a hidden sun
Behind gray clouds,
Your light has gone out
and in the midst of the sunset,
the bitter sweetness of memories,
the memories that are nailed,
like thorns in the skin.
