INGENUITY

The word ingenuity describe the ability of an individual to be creative and also be a very smart and intelligent problem solver either by inventing things in a clever and resourceful way or by bringing up ideas that are mind blowing and will change the course of things or finding a way to make use of existing ideas in a different way entirely.

To be called a genius means that you are very smart and original in your thinking as you have the ability to convert and make use of limited resources to obtain results and solutions that are excellent despite the fact that you were short-handed. Let's take a look at Coca-Cola as a company for example, their current growth ratio is astonishing and the way they are operating on different levels is a testament that those behind the wheels are really doing their job well.

Coca-cola being one of the biggest company in the world has evolved from how they were before, thanks to creative thinking and great minds behind it. From the way their products are finding their way smoothly into the market, it is a testament of effort and ingenuity. There is this innovative idea that they introduced into the market, targeted mostly at freshmen in their first year of school especially the first few days on campus.

The genius move was the introduction of vending machines on campus for easy accessibility to their products but that was not really the catch, the real catch was that those coca-cola bottles in the vending machines cannot be opened by one person alone because the cap of the bottles were made in such a way that two people need to place the bottle caps on each other and then twist in the opposite direction for the bottle to open.

That ingenuity came as a result of lonely and stress that freshmen encounter on their first few days of school due to not having friends. It was a flawless in my perspective because strangers can get to know each other and start a conversation quickly and easily just because they wanted a bottle of coca-cola.

That was a fun, stress-free and natural way of bonding instead of awkward silence. They were able to prove that the best marketing is not just about selling products but by understanding people's pain point and removing them thereby making life a little easier.
