ALCOHOLS
1.Lower alcohols are colorless , toxic liquids and they have a characteristic smell.
- Boiling points of alcohols increase regularly with the increase in the number of carbon atom.
- Boiling points of alcohols are much higher than those of the corresponding alkanes.
4.Among isomeric alcohols as branching increase the boiling point decrease .
