Recipe for Egg with a Twist, Cooked in Soy Sauce with Pineapple chunks or “Egg Patatim” for Dinner
Hello again my friends of this community, I’m here with another budget-friendly recipe that was easy to prepare. Another egg recipe that you will surely love. Eggs are commonly cooked especially breakfast, but it could actually be cooked with many dishes just like some other food recipes for meat. Egg was also nutritious because it was rich of protein, good for our kids.
So, join me again in my humble kitchen as I share to you how I cooked this easy recipe for egg.
Ingredients:
4 eggs (add more if you want)
3 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of oyster
1 tsp. pepper
1 pack pineapple chunks
Cooking Time:
First is to boil the eggs for 10 minutes then set aside, after peeling fry it in a pan until the sides of the egg is slightly brown then set aside.
Chopped garlic and onions finely, then sauté until aromatic then add about 1 cup of water, add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, pepper, laurel leaves and the pineapple chunks. Let it simmer until the sauce is slightly thickens, we can now add back the eggs then cook more for about 10 minutes, Bath wash the eggs from time to time so that it would absorb the sauce until it thickens.
Then we have it, my very own “egg patatim” that was cooked with a heart 😊. This recipe is best served with a plain rice and a soda if you want.
Egg maybe a simple food but if you discover more dishes like this one it becomes extra unique and delicious.
That’s all for today my dear friends of this community, till’ next easy food recipe to be shared. Have a wonderful day and keep safe everyone.
Sincerely, @saijan19
