I Cooked Two Dishes for our Lunch Today, Pork Meat with Soup and “Adobo sa Puti” had some Pork Siomai for our Snack Today
Hello again my dear hiver friends of this community, I’m going to share to you what we had for lunch and snack for today. It was pork day today, but we just seldom eat pork because it was really pricey in our place. Today was a treat for ourselves to have some pork meat for lunch. I decide to cooked two dishes out of it.
My husband bought ½ kg of pork meat. The first dish I cooked was with soup, I just put the meat in a casserole, put some onions and pepper then I sauteed it until the oil from the meat comes out. When it was already sauteed, I added about 3 cups of water, them let it boil. When it was already boiling, I seasoned it with salt to taste and some granules, I also added some pork cubes to make the soup savorer.
At the other side of the stove, I cooked the “adobo sa puti” or the pork meat was cooked without a soy sauce. In cooking this, add in a pan the pork meat and a lot of garlic and pepper then sauté until the oil from the meat comes out then, let it cooked until the pork meat is slightly brown, add 1 cup of water, 3 tablespoons of vinegar, 1 teaspoon of salt. Then cooked until the water is already reduced and only oil was left. Cooked until the meat is golden brown. Then we can now have “adobo sa puti” pork meat.
We had a delicious lunch for today. We thanked God as we partake our food.
For our snack, there is an uncle who sells some siomai, so we just bought some, the chili oil, lots of garlic and soy sauce with calamansi was a perfect sauce for this snack.
That’s all my dear hiver friends of this community, till’ next food blog. Have a wonderful day everyone.
Sincerely, @saijan19
