Celebrating Three important Occasion of our Life. My Son’s Second Birthday, My Birthday and A simple Thanksgiving for our Mini Sari-Sari Store
Hello everyone in this community! A warm greeting to everybody, I hope you have a wonderful day, especially to all moms like me 😊. Today I just want to share in my blog on how we celebrated our special day. This day was not just an ordinary day for me but this is the day where my second born welcomes to this world. Time really flies but every day seems to be so long when you are a stay-at-home mom like me, it feels like every day is the same. Haha
Just a little story about the day my second baby was born. It was June 17 midnight when I felt something was coming out on me and I checked it immediately and it was a lot of blood; I panicked that time because I thought that there is something bad happened to my baby but there’s no pain that I felt. We prayed that God guide me and my baby. My aunties together with my husband of course rush me to the nearest hospital, they checked on me but there is no sign of labor but the doctor said that I must be rushed to a bigger hospital because it was an emergency CS. I cried that time thinking that I failed as a mom to my second born but my husband comforted me saying that everything will be alright and we prayed together for a safe delivery for my baby and for me to overcome the operation. I was really nervous that time because I’ve watched some videos on how they do a caesarian operation. How long the needle that would be punctured at the back and 7 layers to be cut before the baby would come out if I’m not mistaken, and the hardest part is that I don’t have any companion that time because it was a public hospital they don’t allow my husband to be there after my operation. So, he just waited outside for 2 days. I was crying that time because of the pain I felt after the operation plus I’m all alone taking care of my baby. My first walk was so painful. Every second feels so long, my experience on the hospital for two days was bearable because my strength comes from God and I overcome it. Even though I had to do it all after operation. Just by the thought of it, I don’t want to experience it again haha, so we decided to have an implant family planning that was effective up to three years.
Right now, that my second born was 2 years old, all the pain that I felt physically on the operation was all worth it because he was growing as a sweet, joyful baby. He was added as our bundle of joy. He taught me on how to be patient than before. Every day is not easy as a mom of two under two but the love and joy they bring was doubled. We decided to celebrate my son’s second birthday, my birthday and our simple thanksgiving for our mini sari-sari store at once. My birthday was just after the day my second baby was born. So, every year since he was born, we just celebrated it once. I really thank God for another year that he gave to me and to my son as well as all the blessings that He gave to my family, I’m forever grateful to Him.
This day was really a day to remember, celebrating our birthday together with my son and of course, finally having our business that we prayed for more than a year. Yes, we really planned this business for a year so that at the right time we could manage it well since it will become another source of income and to have a better future for our family. I’m praying everyday that God will give me strength and could managed our business well so that it would expand and become bigger. Our goal is to make it a grocery store someday, for our family.
That’s all my dear hiver friends of this community. Praying for more blessing to yours family this year. Enjoy your day!
Sincerely, @saijan19
