Share Your Weekly Challenge: Pirate Captain
In this post, I'm going to talk about my game using this week's challenge, Pirate Captain.
Summoner: Bortus -1 Magic
- Sea Monster
- Crustacean King
- Water Elemental
- Sabre Shark
- Pirate Captain
The ruleset was 25 Mana Cap, Stampede, Water and Light splinter are only allowed to be used.
Before I picked my lineup checked the opponent's battle history and noticed that the opponent is using a water splinter. Not only that, the opponent lineup had Peaceful Giant. I assume that the opponent is very knowledgeable at water splinter and fighting against it so there is a chance that the opponent will use water splinter.
That is how I came up with my lineup. First, I need a tank that can last long on magic damages and Sea Monster is a good fit for it, It has great damage and healing ability, adding Crustacean Kings' tank heal ability will be more difficult to get killed. Next, I picked Water Elemental to support my team for sneak attacks since it also had heal if the opponent won't use the water splinter and I forgot to change its position but still works well in the end. Then, I just pick Sabre Shark for sneak and Pirate Captain for snipe since I still have 6 more mana to spend to complete my team. Plus it also gives me % of DEC when I win since they are both Alpha cards.
