-About A Girl, Who Never Knew-
Into your Chrystal gold rimmed chalice.
The liquid that disrupted its manufactured contents.
I was the glitch in the gears,
The hitch in your stride,
The thing that weighs you down,
As you drag through the tide.
I am the serpent holding something,
A thing shining black that steals the light away.
You thought I'd shine for you,
But I have for long before.
I will steal the light forever,
Out of your pretty little dream.
I am the nightmare you can't escape.
The dream turning sour as it rolls around in your head.
Your eyes are locked on the image,
Of what you wish I was.
Because even when you hate me,
You can't help but miss,
my devilish touch.
