These 4 silkies outgrew their tub at 2 weeks old.

So I built a brooder at 9pm.

Now they need names before I build the coop. You decide.

I am also excited to offer free pet portraits with the purchase of local pet care services.

The business model:

  1. Take photographs of real life working with pets

  2. Turn every pet into a Royal Portrait — charcoal, oil, gold leaf, whatever fits their vibe

  3. Give that portrait free to every client + photograph update on every day of every job

  4. Let the art & photography do the marketing

Today's art: 4 unnamed chicks. The marketing: you name them.

🐥 Community Naming Contest 🐥

I have 4 chickens. They need names. I have zero ideas and a deadline — they need a coop built next.

Rules:

  • Drop names in comments. Upvote your favorites.

  • Top 4 by Friday each get HSBI

  • I’ll illustrate each winner as a hand-finished Royal Portrait with my Pawz Ark crest and post them here

This is the experiment: Can “free art for every client” become a real differentiator in a rural market? We’re about to find out.

Build or Buy?
Also taking votes on the next build: chicken coop 🛠️ vs buy 💰. I need Ozarks real talk. Comment your take.

I’m posting the raw journey across platforms — each one shows a different piece:
