Steamed pandan sponge cake with just one egg
Hi Fudis friends, How are you? Today I will make a very simple recipe?namely a cake with pandan flavor. Who doesn't know pandan sponge cake? This pandan sponge cake is very famous everywhere, including in Indonesia. This pandan sponge cake can be used as a souvenir to bring home to friends and relatives or to social gatherings.
Well, today I will make pandan sponge cake. This is a request from my child. My child wants me to make pandan sponge cake.
So, using the basic ingredients that are in my kitchen, I will start making it with the remaining ingredients at home, there is flour, there is granulated sugar, margarine, there is sweetened condensed milk, and also pandan flavoring.
For the pandan, I only used pandan flavoring, not real pandan leaves because I happened to be too lazy to pick them. I chose pandan flavoring for convenience, but don't worry, the taste and aroma are just as fragrant as the real pandan leaves we blend.
If my child hadn't asked me to make this pandan sponge cake, maybe I wouldn't have made it today because I've been tired all day cleaning the house, washing clothes and so on.
But for the sake of my child, okay, I will make him his favorite Pandaan sponge cake and if you are curious about the recipe, I will share it in the post below.
materials used
250 grams of wheat flour, 50 grams of granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of margarine, 1 tablespoon of pandan flavoring, 1 sachet of sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 teaspoon of SP, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
manufacturing procedure
First
First of all, I put one egg into a larger container, then I also put in margarine, granulated sugar and vanilla, then
Second
Next, I also added SP or cake developer and baking powder, then I stirred until the sugar dissolved.
Third
I stirred it until the sugar dissolved and then I added the flour gradually.
Four
After all the flour is added gradually, I add sweetened condensed milk to 1 glass of water, then I slowly add it to the cake mixture. 1 glass is about 150 ml of water.
Five
After the milk was added, I continued stirring. Then, I added the pandan flavoring and stirred again until the flavoring was evenly distributed. Then, I poured it into a baking pan and steamed it for about 30 minutes.
Six
Then, I poured it into a baking pan and steamed it for about 30 minutes.
RESULTS
And this is the result of my pandan sponge cake, ready to be enjoyed with your family. Well, my own child can't wait to taste it. While it's hot, I cut it into pieces and then I gave my child one piece of cake first. The cake feels soft even though we only used one salted egg. I didn't expect that with just one egg we could make a cake as delicious and soft as this.
The pandan flavor is also very pronounced if you have one egg and flour at home, don't forget to make pandan sponge cake. This Panda can also only use instant pandan flavoring, no need to use real pandan leaves.
Thank you 🙂🤗
