Memorable Last Performance Task for General Biology 1

Hello everyone! It’s me again, @rufajane! For today’s blog, I’ll be taking you back to my last and most memorable performance in Grade 11. So without further ado, let’s get started!

As some of you may know, I’m a STEM student, and one of our subjects is General Biology 1. For our final performance in this subject, our teacher gave us a unique task—to create a film (in any genre we preferred) based on the topics we covered in class. But here’s the twist: instead of the usual group setup, the whole section had to work together on one big project. We ended up choosing the theme: Zombie Apocalypse.

Since the film was all about zombies, we had to apply makeup to make ourselves look like real ones. The story revolved around a zombie virus outbreak that spread across the campus, turning infected students and scientists into zombies.

Anyone bitten by a zombie would become one too. So the idea was: the more people bitten, the more the zombie population grew. Eventually, only a few survivors were left. It seemed like all hope was lost, with zombies surrounding every corner.

At the climax of the story, the remaining survivors spotted a helicopter and tried to signal for help. But instead of rescuing them, the people inside chose to drop a bomb on the campus—leaving no one behind.

Now here comes the plot twist: Years later, a journalist enters the abandoned campus to investigate what had happened. Little did she know, one zombie had survived—and that’s where the film ends, leaving a thrilling cliffhanger.

By the way, I’m not really into makeup, so I felt a bit uncomfortable during the filming. It even made my skin itchy, and I was worried I might be allergic to it. But I chose to push through for the grades haha.
