My crochet masterpiece

By no means do I believe I am an excellent crocheter, but I am pretty proud of this piece.
My “crochet masterpiece” is a virus shawl I made for my friends birthday.
Being very similar to me, I knew she would enjoy this as it’s not something everyone is wearing. I chose a self striping yarn which made it super easy to make as there were no tedious colour changes and sewing in of ends.
I wanted to make her something like this, as I wanted to show that crochet can be modern, and not the antiquated granny hobby most people presume it to be.
So here she is modelling it beautifully!
