Wali Maharagwe: A Budget Bite
This is my dinner today: Wali Maharagwe, a typical Tanzanian dish. It's basically just rice and beans, which is unusual for me as I don't typically eat beans. However, it's incredibly cheap, the cheapest meal I could find. Zanzibar pizza is cheaper, but smaller portions. I mainly wanted to share a photo to give you a taste of the local food. Ugali would be even cheaper, but I prefer beans to that.
I'm not vegetarian, but my diet is mostly plant-based. I did have fish yesterday for a change.
