Update: Arrests Made After the Robbery in Windhoek

I want to share a serious update about what happened after I was robbed here in Windhoek.

The two suspects have now been arrested. According to the judge, there were actually three robbers involved in the attack.

The one wearing the hat acted as backup. He helped the other escape after the fight—at that point, he already had a head injury. This all happened while I was chasing the person who got away with my phone and my 1TB SD card.

During questioning, they told the police that my phone has already been sold. There is still no information about what happened to the SD card, which is especially painful, as it contained all my photos and videos from my journey.

They also said that the third person—the one still on the run — has serious injuries to his shoulder, elbow, and arm. I didn’t even realize at the time that I had injured him during the fight.

According to them, he is hiding somewhere, but they didn’t reveal where. It’s hard to know what is true and what is not—there are still a lot of unanswered questions.

The two arrested suspects are 24 and 25 years old.
