Gaia Wallet Update
Mark Bailey here with a quick update. Today the Gaia wallet transferred the 3m founder allocation and vested 40m tokens. You can see the certificate here on Smithii. The vesting schedule is as follows:
- the 10m bridge fund will unlock July 4 as this is the earliest realistic date for bridge construction
- 14.8m tokens from the general contributor fund will unlock on Jan. 1, 2026 to fund gifts of gratitude to contributors in 2026
- the remaining 15.2m tokens from the general contributor fund will unlock to fund gifts of gratitude to contributors in 2027
This is a long term project and the new vesting schedule reflects that.
