Regasification LNG
LNG regasification business activities are carried out by Pertamina Gas's subsidiary, namely PT Perta Arun Gas, through the operation of the LNG Reception and Regasification Terminal in Arun Lhokseumawe Aceh since early 2015 with a capacity of 400 MMSCFD. At the end of 2019, this facility was able to meet energy needs for power plants and industry in Aceh and North Sumatra up to 43,884 BBTU.
To meet market needs regarding LNG storage facilities, PAG currently operates 5 LNG tanks. Currently the LNG tank is intended for national regasification needs for the Sumatra region and the LNG Hub. With a vision to become “Asia's LNG Hub leader in 2030” PAG plans to increase the number of LNG tanks starting in 2023
