WHAT A JOURNEY

It has been a long time since i posted on this app
Almost 9 months now
Decided i needed to take a break off social media
So i could focus on soul searching.
Alot of times we get all caught up in the hassle of everyday Life that we forget to grow and experience new things We literally stop learning. The unending spinning wheel Of time That neither slows down nor stops turning even for a second.
We are caught in a web of impressions stemming from the need to be someone, from being a better parent to being a Better spouse, to being a better colleague or just generally being a more liked individual.
Often times the society we find ourselves often times dictates the way you should live, work and even eat.

It all happened one summer day i was going home from work after having spent 10hrs of shift, i ran into an old
Neighbour of mine whom i used to know some 6 years ago
And the first thing that struck me was that she had looked noticeably older and i was quite shocked because that was never how i used to remember her by, she was the young pad with so much laughter, always cheerful and playful but this time around i saw a fully grown woman with so much seriousness in her eyes you could just tell she was worn out as they would say life had happened to her.
I left there thinking to myself that i had also aged but not in my eyes and the joys and pleasures of just having a good laugh was almost lost from my life.
So i decided then and there that i would find my inner child once more.
