My first year at Hive, how could I not be motivated! [EN-ES]

Hello #Hive!

By chance, I stumbled upon this interesting initiative from @rutablockchain, which asks us: What keeps us on Hive? Why do we stay on Hive? What keeps us active? Why do we do it? What motivates us?

Well, I'm happy to tell you that I just celebrated my first year in this incredible universe, and it feels like I started yesterday. Time has flown by, but with an endless stream of emotions—hurricanes, storms, and also wonderful moments—that inevitably lead to the rediscovery of other realities, to growth, and to the satisfaction of being able to fulfill dreams, at least in part, for my son, for whom I was able to buy an oven to bake cakes and all kinds of sweets, thanks to Hive.

I have met certain statistics and received badges that I appreciate and am pleased to receive in this process within Hive, but I do not intend to focus on them. I will happily share them here, of course, but my intention is to focus on thanking those who lend their light to illuminate us, while at the same time making clear why I continue in Hive, what motivates me, what keeps me active.

The path traveled has not been easy. At the beginning, the wonder at the new, the eagerness to discover, to move forward, the fear of mistakes made, the feeling of anguish when something didn't turn out as hoped, the surprise at the unexpected... a real rollercoaster with its contrasts in daily life that fly by like clouds in fast motion, if we look back.

As the months go by, I am only certain that there is still much to learn, but I consider the journey worthwhile and the courage to take the plunge and fly.

From the beginning, I had the privilege of having the help of many beings of light on the path; special people, some known, others yet to be met, even some who acted in bad faith towards me, but who still gave me lessons and I am grateful to them as well.

A year ago, I started receiving support from @yecier and all the wonderful people at #hivesantiagodecuba; they welcomed me with open arms and showed me the way. I admit I learned through trial and error, but they were there, and still are, present whenever I've needed them.

They then introduced me to the first community I met, #HiveCuba, under the guidance of @manuphotos, who has also been invaluable on this journey, providing us with perpetual support.

I know I'll commit the sin of forgetting many who have helped me, who help me now, and to whom I am eternally grateful. But those who are getting to know me through my blog will remember that I'm a master of absentmindedness—in other words, I'm incredibly absent-minded. I ask for forgiveness for any names I don't mention; there are so many. But, I repeat, I am truly grateful to everyone.

With special emotion, I still cherish that first crucial help provided by @palomap3, who, together with the team of the Hive España 🇪🇸 community, welcomed me into the mentoring program they run on the Discord server for such purposes.

Thanks to her, I realized my first steps weren't as misguided as I'd thought or as some had led me to believe. She shared a wealth of knowledge with me by thoroughly reviewing my profile and activity history, encouraging me even when she suggested something that I, of course, readily accepted with complete trust.

If you're starting out on Hive or, like me, still feel you need help, I wholeheartedly recommend taking advantage of this service she so generously provides. You'll be incredibly grateful.

Time passed, and with it, learning continued thanks to the ApisHive team, led by @livinguktaiwan and @apis.hive. At the same time, the help of @zakludick, @clairemobey, and the BusyBees community, also led by @alonicus, fostered remarkable progress, reinforcing my confidence in my work. They also thoroughly reviewed my profile, offering sound advice that I followed to the letter. Every suggestion they provided confirmed what @palomap3 had pointed out to me weeks earlier.

Then I was fortunate enough to be welcomed by @melinda010100 and the entire team of the great @ecency community, whom I thank for the honor of being the first Cuban selected as a guest curator at #Ecency, an experience that I consider I faced with total decorum and satisfaction.

Thanks to @melinda010100, and other people involved, I was able to learn much more about the curation process, I actually fell in love with the work of being a curator and that experience confirmed my desire to become a permanent curator as soon as I have the opportunity.

The weeks continued to pass. Time flew by without me noticing... And I met other special people on Discord too, communities that welcomed me and showed me a whole infinite world of possibilities and emotions. Among them, the Bokura No Digital community, led by the Capybara Mayor @takeru255, to whom I am grateful for his altruism and ability to welcome all those who approach him with transparent and healthy intentions of growing as a community.

I can't fail to mention the communities CWH Co-Working for Hive, The PIMP District and DreemPort, where people like @alessandrawhite @shadowspub and @thekittygirl have helped keep my motivation within Hive from waning.

I also have to mention @cositav, @sacra97, @jesuslnrs, @damarysvibra, @emiliorios, @powerpaul, and communities like CryptoCompany CEO, that amazing team at @Aliento who give so much encouragement to everyone, @hispapro, @lacolmena, @es-literatos, @worldmappin, @hivebuzz, @photofeed, #CinnamonCupCoffee, #ShadowHunters, #BEER, #LadiesofHive, #HivePizza, @holos-lotus, among so many others who continually motivate us in such an exceptional way...

To everyone I haven't mentioned, I reiterate, please forgive me, you are a wonderful universe, but know that to all of you, I am grateful for the support you give me every day!

So how could I not continue in Hive when so many brilliant people are sharing their perspectives to illuminate the path ahead? How could I not stay active and continue sharing, for example, in my case, our passion for photography, poetry, life...? How could I not be motivated, despite the dark days that come our way, to help others, since that is precisely one of my daily priorities?

I could give different reasons, but I believe that, by expressing my gratitude, I am highlighting each response.

For now, I'll say goodbye, inviting @lileisabel, @cleothlove, and @taniagonzalez to join us in this initiative, as I embark on the journey towards a new year that awaits us with hopes, but not before reminding you all to never stop smiling!

¡Hola #Hive!

La causalidad dispuso me encontrase con esta interesante iniciativa que nos propone @rutablockchain en la que nos pregunta ¿qué nos mantiene en Hive?, ¿por qué seguimos en Hive?, ¿qué nos mantiene activos?, ¿por qué lo hacemos?, ¿cuál es nuestra motivación?...

Pues les cuento que recién acabo de cumplir mi primer año en este increíble universo y parece comencé justo ayer. El tiempo se ha ido volando, pero con un caudal infinito de emociones conformadas por huracanes, tormentas y también gratos momentos que llevan, inevitablemente, al redescubrimiento de otras realidades, al crecimiento y la satisfacción de poder cumplir sueños, al menos en parte, a mi hijo, a quien pude comprarle un horno para elaborar pasteles y dulces de varios tipos, gracias a Hive.

He cumplido estadísticas y recibido insignias que agradezco y me congratulan en este proceso dentro Hive, pero no pretendo centrarme en ellas, las compartiré acá con alegría, claro está, pero mi intención es centrarme en agradecer a los que brindan su luz para iluminarnos, mientras a la vez dejo claro por qué continúo en Hive, qué me motiva, qué me mantiene activo.

El sendero transitado no ha sido fácil. Al comienzo, el asombro ante lo nuevo, el ansia por descubrir, por avanzar, el temor ante los errores cometidos, el sentimiento de angustia ante algo que no salió como anhelaba, la sorpresa ante lo inesperado... toda una montaña rusa con sus contrastes en el día a día que vuelan como nubes en cámara rápida, si miramos en retrospectiva.

Con el paso de los meses, solo tengo la certeza de que aún queda mucho por aprender, pero considero ha valido la pena el recorrido y el atreverse a lanzarse al vacío para volar.

Desde el inicio, tuve el privilegio de contar con la ayuda de muchos seres de luz en el sendero; personas especiales, algunas conocidas, otras por conocer, incluso alguna que otra persona que actuó de mala fe para conmigo, pero que igual me aportó aprendizajes y también les agradezco.

Hace ya un año, comencé recibiendo el apoyo de @yecier y todas las maravillosas personas de #hivesantiagodecuba; me acogieron con los brazos abiertos para mostrarme el camino. Reconozco aprendí a base de ensayo y error, pero estuvieron ahí, y están aún, presentes para cuando lo he necesitado.

Ellos me presentaron entonces a la primera comunidad que conocí, #HiveCuba, bajo la conducción de @manuphotos, quien también ha sido de gran valía en este viaje, brindándonos apoyo perpetuo.

Sé que cometeré el pecado de olvidar a muchos que me han ayudado, me ayudan en el presente y a quienes les agradezco infinitamente, pero, los que ya me van conociendo a través de mi blog, han de recordar soy cinta negra en despiste, o sea, soy todo un ser muy despistado y pido me perdonen cualquier nombre que no mencione, es que son muchos. Pero, repito, a todos, agradezco de veras.

Con especial emoción, aún conservo en el pecho esa primera ayuda crucial brindada por @palomap3, quien, junto al equipo de la comunidad Hive España 🇪🇸 me acogió en el programa de acompañamiento que llevan a cabo en el servidor de Discord para tales fines.

Gracias a ella supe que mis primeros pasos no iban tan desacertados como pensé o como me habían hecho creer algunos. Ella me transmitió mucho conocimiento revisando a fondo mi perfil, mis acciones cronológicas y alentándome aun cuando sugería algo que por supuesto yo aceptaba con los ojos cerrados con total confianza.

Si estás comenzando en Hive o, como yo, aún piensas necesitas ayuda, te sugiero sin duda alguna que acudas a este servicio que ella brinda con toda gentileza. Lo agradecerás a plenitud.

Prosiguió el tiempo, y con él, el aprendizaje gracias al equipo de trabajo de ApisHive, de la mano de @livinguktaiwan @apis.hive. A la vez, la ayuda de @zakludick @clairemobey y la comunidad de BusyBees, conducida también por @alonicus, propició una notable evolución reforzando la confianza en lo realizado. Igualmente revisaron a fondo mi perfil con juicios sólidos que seguí al pie de la letra. Cada indicación proporcionada por ellos resultó ratificación de lo que @palomap3 me había acotado semanas antes.

Luego tuve la fortuna de ser acogido por @melinda010100 y todo el equipo de la gran comunidad de @Ecency, a quienes agradezco el honor de ser el primer cubano seleccionado como curador invitado en #Ecency, vivencia esta que considero afronté con total decoro y satisfacción.

Gracias a @melinda010100, y otras personas implicadas, pude conocer de cerca mucho más el proceso de curación, me enamoré de hecho de la labor de ser curador y esa experiencia confirmó mi deseo de convertirme en curador permanente apenas tenga la oportunidad.

Siguieron transcurriendo las semanas. El tiempo volando sin percatarme... Y conocí a otras personas especiales en Discord también, comunidades que me acogieron y me enseñan todo un mundo infinito de posibilidades y emociones. Entre ellas, la comunidad Bokura No Digital, conducida por el Capibara Mayor @takeru255, a quien agradezco su altruismo y capacidad de acoger a todos los que se les acercan con transparentes y sanas intenciones de crecer en comunidad.

No puedo dejar de mencionar a las comunidades CWH Co-Working for Hive, The PIMP District y DreemPort, donde personas como @alessandrawhite @shadowspub y @thekittygirl han contribuido a que mi motivación dentro de Hive no disminuya.

También tengo que mencionar a @cositav @sacra97 @jesuslnrs @damarysvibra @emiliorios @powerpaul y a comunidades como CryptoCompany CEO, a ese gran equipazo de @Aliento que tanto aliento brindan a todos, a @hispapro, @lacolmena, @es-literatos, @worldmappin, @hivebuzz, @photofeed, #CinnamonCupCoffee, #ShadowHunters, #BEER, #LadiesofHive, #HivePizza, @holos-lotus, entre otras tantas que nos motivan continuamente de manera tan excepcional...

A todos los que no he mencionado, reitero, por favor, discúlpenme, es que son un universo maravilloso, pero sepan que a todos, a todos, ¡les agradezco el apoyo que me regalan a diario!

Y entonces, ¿cómo no continuar en Hive cuando tantas personas tan brillantes te enseñan sus colores para dibujar mucho mejor el sendero a transitar? ¿Cómo no mantenernos activos para seguir compartiendo, por ejemplo, en mi caso, nuestra pasión por la fotografía, la poesía, la vida...? ¿Cómo no motivarnos, a pesar de los días grises que nos golpean, a ayudar a otros, si esa es precisamente una de las prioridades que me mueven en el día a día?

Pudiera exponer disímiles razones, pero creo que, agradeciendo, pongo en evidencia cada respuesta.

Por ahora, me voy despidiendo, invitando a @lileisabel @cleothlove y a @taniagonzalez a que se nos sumen en esta iniciativa, mientras tomo el camino hacia un nuevo año que se avecina y nos recibe con ilusiones, no sin antes, recordarles a todos ustedes que ¡no dejen de sonreír!
