Caprese Salad
A Great Summer Appetizer
This is a super easy little things to put together. Just slice tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and basil. Alternate the tomato and mozzarella slices, and sprinkle with the basil. Right before serving, sprinkle some rock salt and balsamic vinegar reduction over the top. The flavors are so wonderful in harmony and if you grow tomatoes and basil like my family has, this is the perfect meal of early summer. I recommend this for your next get-together, and this is a perfect appetizer for a BBQ since it is so light and pairs well with heavy meat offerings.
