Leaving the urban routine behind and reaching the mountains of Villeta was exactly what I needed to reconnect with my original self. Being surrounded by pure nature reminds you how simple and beautiful life is when you disconnect from the city's noise.

Antes de arrancar la aventura en el río, nos regalamos un pequeño placer local: un helado de frutas con queso espectacular. Esos pequeños detalles gastronómicos hacen que la experiencia sea completa antes de adentrarse en la ruta.

Before starting the river adventure, we treated ourselves to a delicious local tradition: a fruit ice cream topped with cheese. Those small flavor details truly set the mood before heading out on the trail.

Acompañados por un guía local, recorrimos el río y sus saltos de agua. Sentí un vértigo increíble cada vez que me asomaba al borde, pero no dejé pasar ni una sola oportunidad para lanzarme por cada cascada. Romper el miedo y saltar fue, sin duda, la mejor parte de la aventura.

Guided by a local expert, we made our way through the river and its waterfalls. I felt an incredible surge of vertigo every time I looked down, but I didn't waste a single chance to jump into each waterfall. Facing that fear and leaping was undoubtedly the best part of the experience.

Lo mejor de todo fue poder compartir cada salto, cada risa y la adrenalina pura al lado de mi hermano. Hay viajes que te recargan la energía, y este en Villeta fue uno de ellos.

Best of all was sharing every jump, every laugh, and the pure adrenaline right beside my brother. Some trips just fully recharge your energy, and this one in Villeta was definitely one of them.
