From sun to rain

When the sunny days of early autumn turn into rainy, grey days it is a mixed blessing. Especially when living off- grid!
The sun was welcome of course, but although the days were cooler we stil had to do quite a lot of watering, particularly for our new little trees.
Now, the rain takes care of that, but our solar generates very little power, so we have to boost it with the generator.

All in all, its good to see the rain, despite it being less pleasant on the farm. The land, the whole country needs rain, and lots of it.
The dogs are not so happy though...no walkies when its pouring!
