Steem Monsters and Magic Dice - a Winning Combination

I want to start off by saying just like listening to Nickelback music, gambling can be addictive, dangerous and also ruin your life. Never bet more than you are willing to lose because the house always wins in the end. @magicdice is set up to make a profit which can be a positive for you because they are offering all of us a piece of the house right now. They have set up a dividend program by giving away Magic Tokens (soon to be a SMT) for gambling steem/sbd, referals and delegation. @steemmonsters is another one of my guilty pleasures, I love this game!!! I play it on a regular basis and always try to complete my daily quests; in turn I am rewarded with free cards upon completion. These cards hold a value of anywhere between $.02 all the way up to hundreds of dollars for a legendary gold foil.

Now on to my personal strategy about how I have been combining these two innovative dApps without risking much of my own precious steem.

My Steem Monsters deck normally advances me to the diamond league every season, so I get about 6 reward cards when I complete my daily quest. I have been keeping half of my daily cards and selling the other half on the steem monsters market place.

I then take my profits from the free reward cards and head on over to magic-dice.com with it. If I am feeling ballsy, I do a 50/50 bet for the whole wad and try to double my money with one roll. Sometimes I start out at .1 steem, place a bet where I have a 70% chance to win and try my luck with that a few times. Each time I roll the dice I get 25 free magic tokens and once I have come close to doubling my original money I try to walk away for the day. (Even though I have been known to stick around and lose it all back like a big donkey.)

Once I double my money I can go back to the Monsters marketplace and rebuy 2 of the cards that I originally sold for the seed money, buy a better card with my profit or use it to power up my Steem Power.

I am building up my Magic Tokens as well as my Monsters deck WIN WIN!!! The only time it doesn’t work is when I LOSE LOSE lol, but even then I have to consider that my seed money came from my Steem Monsters free reward cards.

I hope this helps some people maximize both their Steem Monster decks as well as build up some Magic Tokens. Just keep in mind that the house always wins in the end and you may be better off just keeping your daily reward cards long term.
