California Poppy Bloom
This winter we had a TON of rain in SoCal, and the thing to do in the spring, is to go see the wildflowers, and poppies, blooming all over the southland! These pics are from Walker Canyon, near Temecula.
We went early in the morning, and the poppies open up in the sun. It wasnt sunny yet when we got there so I got a few good pics of closed, sleeping poppies :)
The overhead sky was grey, which is perfect for a morning hike. Poppies as far as the eye can see!!!
Someone built a zen rock tower. We added to it on the top.
No matter how many pictures you take, you can help but take more. The close ups are amazing. the colors are amazing. I want this to happen every year.
