Cerro Cantería is an archaeological zone that is protected by the Ministry of Culture, located in the upper part of Annex 22 of Jicamarca. this beautiful place of history and culture where we can observe geoglyphs, petroglyphs and a dazzling cloud cushion.
It should be noted that it is forbidden to make fires and move stones when visiting this place.

the petroglyphs of cerro cantería are a series of designs printed on rocks with a reddish surface that are unique in this area of the lower rímac valley

This area is fabulous for trekking, the flora and fauna is typical of a subtropical desert ecosystem with a dry climate. From the high hills you can see the "cushion of clouds", the most striking attraction for many backpackers and travelers who arrive at the place surprised.

At the beginning of the walk, you can see different pre-fabricated houses where you can get nice views every time you climb to the top of the mountain.

where you will be able to observe different paths that lead through different places, the dates drawn on the rocks to guide the walker and lead on the correct path. El cerro cantería es una zona arqueológica que está protegida por el ministerio de cultura , ubicada en la parte alta del anexo 22 de Jicamarca. este hermoso lugar de historia y cultura donde podremos observar geoglifos , petroglifos y un deslumbrante colchón de nubes.
Cabe resaltar que está prohibido realizar fogatas y mover las piedras a la hora de visitar este lugar.

los petroglifos de cerro cantería son una serie de diseños impresos sobre rocas de superficie rojiza únicos en esta zona del valle bajo del Rímac

Esta zona es fabulosa para hacer trekking,la flora y fauna es típica de un ecosistema desértico subtropical de clima seco. desde los altos cerros se puede observar el colchón de nubes'', el atractivo más llamativo para muchos mochileros y viajeros que llegan al lugar sorprendido.

a los inicios de la caminata, podrás observar distintas casas pre-fabricadas donde podrás obtener vistas agradables cada vez que subes a la cima de la montaña .

donde podres observar distintos caminos que se dirigen por distintos lugares, las fechas dibujados en las rocas para orientar al caminante y dirigir por el camino correcto. también podrás observar piedras de distintos tamaños mientras te acercas asta la cima y al observar el atardecer las nubes se postras en la cima de las montañas y el reposar del sol cada vez escondiéndose.
