Opening FIVE Common Cards with Glint to Celebrate my Return to Splinterlands
A fresh start, five pulls, and a new path back into the arena.
Splinterlands has changed a lot since I last played seriously — new reward systems, new currencies, new metas, and a whole new rhythm to the game. But one thing hasn’t changed: the thrill of opening cards and imagining the lineups they unlock.
I had a stash of leftover Glint, so I decided to jump back in by grabbing five common cards to rebuild my collection and get a feel for the new ecosystem. These pulls weren’t meta‑breaking legendaries or high‑impact rares — but they’re exactly the kind of foundation pieces that help you relearn the game, experiment with team comps, and start climbing again.
Below is a breakdown of each card I pulled, what role it plays, and how I plan to use them as stepping stones on my return to Splinterlands.
Why These Five Cards Matter for My Comeback
None of these cards are game‑breaking on their own — but together, they give me:
A cheap speed unit
Two mid‑mana Water tanks
One high‑risk, high‑reward attacker
One low‑mana durable tank
That’s a full spread of roles to help me relearn positioning, rulesets, and team synergy.
More importantly, spending leftover Glint on commons is the perfect way to re‑enter Splinterlands without pressure. You get fresh cards, fresh ideas, and fresh motivation — all without needing massive investment.
Next Steps in My Return to Splinterlands
Now that I’ve got these five cards, my plan is simple:
Build a few low‑mana and mid‑mana teams
Test Water splinter variations
Experiment with Grim Bonewhip in niche rulesets
Grind daily rewards to rebuild momentum
Slowly expand my deck with more Glint pulls
Splinterlands feels fresh again — and these five cards are my starting point.
