THE GIANT ALPINE SKINK
HELLO SPLINTERLANDS COMMUNITY!
It's been a while since I posted a content here, but I am back!!
Ever since from my last posts, a lot of game improvements happen in Splinterlands and one of these is the addition of Glint to the game. Glint is a new currency in Splinterlands. It can be earned by winning battles and burning some Soulbounds card. The difference of this currency to DEC and SPS in Splinterlands is that, Glint is non-transferrable currency, meaning, players may only use this to buy in the game.
Lately, I have been earning Glint in my battles and that gives me enough to buy one of the Rarity Draw. Since I do not have enough Glint, I only choose the Common Draw. Here's what I got: COMMON DRAW
THE GIANT ALPINE SKINK
The GIANT ALPINE SKINK is a Common Water Monster with Shield ability. Monsters with this kind of ability reduces damage from melee and range attacks by 50%. This monster have three (3) melee attacks, two (2) armors, three (3) speed, and six (6) lives. This card is one of the Soulbound card that can also be converted into Glint. By looking at its stats and ability, we can say that this monster could be one of the strongest Common Water Monster. It is undeniably a front line monster that can take damages and can do lots of damages to opponents. Also, its speed is remarkable. That level of speed could dodge many attacks. When it comes to melee and range damages that can be induced to this monster, we can worry less because Shield ability can reduce those damage and its armor can surely endure those damages. The only thing that can be in a way of this monster are Magic Attackers.
If we look at future abilities of Giant Alpine Skink in the future, we can see that it can gain new abilities: the Phase and Stun. Monsters with Phase ability can avoid melee and range attacks. Monsters with Stun ability can make the targeted monster miss the next turn with a probability of 50%. These two new abilities could be a game changer because it will be difficult for them beat this monster.
That's all!! Stay tune for a battle to remember with The Giant Alpine Skink!!
