The day was bright with clear skies.

Kids with bicycles cherished the weather.

Cycling through their hood was super-fun.

On this day, among kids

there were mini-competitions,

to ascertain the fastest biker.

Unfortunately, on this same day,

a robbery getaway car veered into their hood,

and the day ended tragically.
