Remembering Kobe Bryant
Despite what many may say about him, or even doubt about him, I believe Kobe Bryant is the epitome of character.
Now, I know some may discredit him, saying that he was accused of rape, but I think it is important to remember that Kobe was only accused, and that in the end the issue was resolved amicably.
The woman involved is also schizophrenic, meaning her perception of what had happen is likely different from reality.
Despite this, Kobe still issued an apology. This shows us something about Kobe - that he is uninhibited by how others view him, but instead remains a genuinely concerned, empathetic individual even when his reputation is at stake.
Now, with that out of the way, I would like to shout out Jimmy Kimmel's interviews with Kobe. In particular, I really enjoyed the interview that happened after Kobe won the 2010 championships.
It is indeed a tragedy that we lost a man like him so soon, rest in peace Kobe.
Mamba out!
