Prayers for Vegas

The world we live in today can be such a wonderful place.  One that is filled with great joys, adventure and everlasting memories around every corner.  Yet at the same time society has become negative and hateful and incidents like what took place in Las Vegas last night seem to flood our mainstream news.  In the coming weeks incidents like these will only lead to more arguments over gun laws, security measures and more. While we at Resurgent Skateboards are not about to dive into any type of political disputes over how this could have happened, we are humans and we enjoy life as much as those around us.  We ask everyone to pray for those in Las Vegas who were injured or lost their lives.  And we thank those who protected others to the best of their ability and stopped the mass shooting before it went further than it could have. 

We ask that everyone take a moment today and ponder how precious life really is. Be thankful for what you have and strive to be better as a person.  We cannot change the decisions of others around us, but we can make a difference within ourselves.  Actions like these can very well effect those around you in a positive way, hopefully leading to a much better society.

When all else fails, get on your boards and skate!
