¡Hola comunidad de amantes del anime y el manga!

Había estado un poco alejada, ya que tenía problemas para conectarme a internet.

El inconveniente aún no ha sido resuelto al 100% pero al menos puedo hacer actualizaciones un poco más esporádicas.

En este tiempo estuve probando un poco algo que siempre quise hacer desde que era niña.

Siempre veía en las películas la imagen del artista que vivía con un estilo libre. Dibujaban en los parques, en las plazas, en la playa, al aire libre lejos de las cuatro paredes de un estudio o de una habitación.

Siempre quise probar ese estilo de vida pero nunca me atrevía. Entre el trabajo y otras circunstancias no podía siquiera intentarlo.

Hace poco las condiciones se dieron y pude salir a probar dibujar al aire libre.

La experiencia fue muy buena. Conocí otros artistas que trabajan de esta forma desde hace años así que me dieron recomendaciones y me contaron sus anécdotas de lo que ha sido su vida como un artista libre.

Sin proponérmelo, conseguí mentores.

Para mí fue un poco difícil al inicio ya que soy tímida (sí, aunque no lo parezca) y también lidio con la introversión. Debido a esto, tratar directamente con público es un gran reto para mí.

Las personas fueron muy amables. Quienes se acercaban a verme dibujar, se tomaban el tiempo de conversar conmigo preguntarme sobre algunas inquietudes sobre dibujo y algunos padres me pidieron recomendaciones para sus hijos que tienen inclinación artística.

Yo disfruto mucho hablando de anime y manga con los niños y adolescentes que se acercan y conversamos sobre personajes e incluso he conocido algunos a través de ellos, que yo no conocía.

Les comparto las fotos de algunos de los sitios que he visitado durante este tiempo que he estado dibujando al aire libre.

Y estas son algunas de las ilustraciones que he hecho, todas en método tradicional: tinta china, creyones y aguada.

Hello, anime and manga lovers community!

I had been a bit away because I was having trouble connecting to the internet.

The issue hasn’t been solved 100 % yet, but at least I can post updates a little more sporadically.

During this time I tried something I have always wanted to do since I was a child.

I always saw in movies the image of the artist living a free‑spirited lifestyle, drawing in parks, plazas, on the beach, outdoors, away from the four walls of a studio or a room.

I have always wanted to try that way of life, but I never dared. Between work and other circumstances I couldn’t even attempt it.

Recently the conditions aligned, and I was able to go out and try drawing outdoors.

The experience was very good. I met other artists who have been working this way for years, so they gave me recommendations and shared anecdotes about their lives as free‑spirited artists.

Without intending to, I found mentors.

It was a little hard for me at first because I’m shy (yes, even if it doesn’t look like it) and I also deal with introversion. Because of this, interacting directly with the public is a big challenge for me.

People were very kind. Those who stopped to watch me draw took the time to chat, asked me about drawing‑related questions, and some parents asked for recommendations for their children who have an artistic inclination.

I really enjoy talking about anime and manga with the kids and teenagers who come by; we discuss characters, and I’ve even met some people through them that I didn’t know before.

I’m sharing photos of some of the places I’ve visited while drawing outdoors.

Here are some of the illustrations I’ve made, all in traditional media: ink, crayons, and watercolor wash.
