(ENG/ESP) Illustration “Kyrsiel” – Angel Guardian /Ilustraciòn “Kyrsiel” – Angel Guardián.

Kyrsiel es todo lo contrario de lo que se podría esperar de un ángel: es perezoso, indisciplinado y falto de atención. Posee muy buenas habilidades y aprende técnicas rápidamente, pero su indisciplina juega en su contra así que nunca llega a alcanzar los estándares requeridos para sus funciones.

Gersiel trata de hacerle ver sus fortalezas para que las aproveche, pero Kyrsiel sólo piensa que él lo presiona para fastidiarlo, así que nunca toma en serio las recomendaciones de su maestro.

Kyrsiel es muy ágil y flexible a la hora de combatir, eso le da algo de ventaja sobre sus enemigos…ventaja que muchas veces desaprovecha por no prestar atención a lo que hace o pierde el foco de atención.

Revisando mi carpeta de bocetos encontré varios relacionados a mi historia “Ángel Guardián”, que aún no he hecho en limpio. Muchos de ellos son spoilers de la historia, así que no los compartiré hasta que esos capítulos estén publicados.

Encontré uno de Kyrsiel en combate y me decidí a hacerlo a color, ya que no había hecho ilustraciones de ellos recientemente.

El boceto lo había hecho en papel durante la hora de almuerzo en mi trabajo. Trabajé la ilustración al estilo anime y usé brochas de acuarela para el fondo. Su cabello es algo que siempre me gusta trabajar, ya que por lo largo y desordenado que lo usa, puede ayudar mucho a enfatizar algunas emociones en las escenas.

Kyrsiel is the complete opposite of what one might expect of an angel: he is lazy, undisciplined, and inattentive. He has very good skills and learns techniques quickly, but his indiscipline works against him so he never reaches the standards required for his duties.

Gersiel tries to make him see his strengths so that he takes advantage of them, but Kyrsiel only thinks that he is pressuring him to annoy him, so he never takes his teacher's recommendations seriously.

Kyrsiel is very agile and flexible when it comes to fighting, that gives him an advantage over his enemies... an advantage that he often misses because he doesn't pay attention to what he's doing or loses his focus.

Reviewing my sketch folder I found several related to my story "Guardian Angel", which I have not yet done in clean. Many of them are story spoilers, so I won't share them until those chapters are out.

I found one of Kyrsiel in combat and decided to do it in color, since I hadn't done any illustrations of them recently.

The sketch had been done on paper during my lunch hour at work. I worked the illustration in anime style and used watercolor brushes for the background. His hair is something that I always like to work on, because of how long and messy he wears it, it can help a lot to emphasize some emotions in the scenes.
