First snowflakes
The air was crisp, dry, and cold. Dry leaves crunched underfoot on the path to the shores of Prince William Sound. The sun had been shining for days - a welcome respite from our unusually wet summer. The tide was out revealing colorful seaweed. The ocean breeze blew the first snowflakes into my eyes. This might be the winter we've been waiting for...
