Back to Work.

Well i was running out of money - 6 months without an income and the constant drain of my finances by the state for benefits, privileges, services and levies that i don't want and don't receive and cannot cancel.

Not paying, would have the state dragging me back to court and having no income would result in the confiscation of my property (theft by the state) and as i have seen first hand the collusion and corruption in the courts here in South Australia, i know it would be a fight that cannot be won lawfully with reason or logic - so it has had to come to an end. Getting arrested for not paying for my waste bins to be emptied when i don't have any waste bins to empty would just be the type of thing that would tip me over the edge.

These past six months have been great fun and emotionally rewarding. It was hard work trying to be self sufficient and working to be "off grid". The experience has highlighted a number of areas that i need to work on and getting away from the state is far harder than i first thought, there are lots of strings attached by the state and other corporations that cannot be cut no matter how hard you try, people genuinely believe that they have the authority to remove your private rights without your consent and it's made even harder when they are supported by the ignorant majority and the corrupt courts.

i need to re-focus on areas that have been a drain on my finances and make plans to eliminate them long term or have a passive income stream that can cover the cost of things - e.g internet is $80 per month - As this country moves away from cash to card, existing off grid without a bank account etc will become impossible, so this needs to be taken into account.

i think when i no longer have hungry mouths to feed and my two children decide to fly the nest, then maybe we will make the decision to cut all ties and move away - try again.

So this last week iv'e been busy with job interviews - Wednesday - Thursday - Monday - and today Tuesday. i now start my new job as Production Manager for a local foundry on Thursday.
