Hello

My name is Ryan and I live in Maine. I've been working on leveling up web development skills for a while now and want to do a better job recording what I've been studying. I'm hoping by posting on steemit it will give me a chance to reflect on what I've learned as well as welcome other new programmers (as well as veterans in the role) to provide some feedback.

I've been using freeCodeCamp (FCC) as my main platform to work off of. FCCs short lessons have been the perfect size for me to pick away at. The lessons are short and to the point. They also provide a little challenge enforce the learning material. But the web is packed with great resources and I may have some post featuring them later.

Some of my other tech I've been playing with recently include emacs as a general dev environment and notes, guix for reproducible builds, and Ansible for system configuration. I'll probably sprinkle in some post on these topics, but currently plan on focusing web development.
