On workout music

For those of us who go to the gym to lift weights its always nice to have a really nice loud upbeat music track that's going to give your workouts those extra Omph.

I mean seriously? you gonna work out to something like Flight of the Bumble Bee?

However, most gyms have terrible tastes (IMHO, pls dun kill me) when it comes to workout musics usually opting for rap remixes that are anything BUT uplifting/upbeat especially when it comes to their lyrics, a fine example of which is

"Heathen" by Twenty One Pilots

(seriously that song is in every gym)

and I SWEAR the same songs get repeated 3 to 4 times for the duration that I'm in there. (about 1 hr)

Which is why usually I arm myself with earbuds (so I don't damage my ears by playing super loud volume with the crappy earphones that came with my iPhone 7. )
(Don't even get me started on the headphone jack) and my own personal tracklist of workout music, my favorite which I would LOVE to share with ya'll is

"You Say Run" by Yûki Hayashi

I mean just listen to that, you can seriously feel the workout mood getting ON!

Yûki Hayashi composed the OST for an anime titled

The track has been quite inspirational and has been covered many times with many instruments for reasons I'm sure need not be stated sheer awesome-ness if you've listened to it.

Speaking of covers its only fair that i also share with you my favorite cover of it

Here in Malaysia, we Malaysians have an expression

"See him play you also tired"

which comes from seeing the amount of effort over 9000 behind every swing of his drumsticks.

Anyways, hope that you enjoyed this song enough that it gets added to YOUR workout track list too.
