The first figs of the season are ripening! This variety, grows super large figs! ...

... They are the size of baseballs sometimes! I split one open so you could see the gorgeous inner flesh. The fig on the right is almost ripe too and her outer skin will darken a bit over the next few days into a purplish hue. More fig photo posts coming!
