Ned Rig/Wacky Rig Hack w/ Marabou Feathers
Adding Marabous to my soft plastic stickbaits is something I have been doing for a while. I find it most effective for Wacky Rigs and recently Ned rigs!
Note that both floating and non-floating ned rig plastics have different action, so experiment which one will get the fish biting!
the Ned rig, i like to just drag it at the bottom or small hops. where the marabou makes this lure shine is when you dead stick and let the water move the feathers, especially on the TRD since it floats. it will put the feathers higher in the water column and it will be carried by any water movements.
All you need is super glue, marabou, scissors and a bobbin threader and you can do these simple hacks to catch some more bass.
