Retro
A trip back to the 80's where Fairlights were punching out tunes quicker than you could say 8-bit! This track was extremely good fun to make. I wanted to have sounds in there that you would recognise from music back in the 80's and 90s - because I'm using the instruments of then. I also wanted to add a bit of today in it - to bring it in line with what we're used to listening to.
Features the following gear: Akai MPC Live, Roland D-50, Roland Juno JU-06, Roland SE-02, Roland System-8, Roland System-1, Korg Minilogue, Waldorf Streichfett, Strymon BigSky, EHX SmallStone, samples from Fairlight CMI and my voice.
