senja kudus melingsir
luruh di hilir kerling
ke mana gelak mula
sepi
bocah lanang
bersimpuh nelangsa
di bentala lengas
griya tuan
disingsingnya paras carut
tengadah merabung 
ke langit temaram
arak-arak awan
gumpal-gumpal 
gulung-gulung
Allahumma laka shumtu
wa bika amantu
wa'ala rizqika
afthartu

Through the Eyes of A Poor Boy

the twilight sunset
falling at the eyes edge
where the laugh was
quiet
there was a boy
who curled up
on the mire of
landlord
raising his head
deeply looking up
to the dark sky
a swarm of clouds
lumps
roll up
Allahumma laka shumtu
wa bika amantu
wa'ala rizqika
afthartu
