I hope you are all having an amazing day. As I checked the wallet of @randomkindness earlier, I saw this:

Thank you so much @mellofello. This is very timely because the kids will now be required to be in uniform next week, and we need to buy them shoes as well. They only wear slippers in going to school right now, but they might not be allowed to enter school in slippers anymore.

I asked the kids to drop by at my workplace later so we could go together and look for shoes that would fit our budget. I'm happy that we have an ukay-ukay here in our town and we don't have to go to the city to buy one. An ukay-ukay is a store that sells second-hand items at a much lower price. I hope we'll find decent pair of shoes later for them.
