Making the paper sticks

Creating decorative items is my new hobby. I got motivated because of hive. Today I'm going to show you the wall hanger which I made for my salon.

Creating decorative items is my new hobby. I got motivated because of hive. Today I'm going to show you the wall hanger which I made for my salon.

The tools I have used

🔹Mirror

Step 01: Making the paper sticks
Take a White A4 paper and cut 32 pieces with 7 cm width & 20 cm hight.

Take one piece of paper and roll the paper with the help of knitting needle and apply glue to the end to secure the roll.

Take the rolled sticks and divide them into two sets (16 each). Now adjust the height of the paper sticks as, 01 set to be 14 cm height and the other set has to be 9 cm height.
Step 02: Making the structure
Next, take a piece of carboard and draw a circle with a radius of 12 cm and cut it.

Take the 14 cm height 16 pieces and glue it to the carboard paper with an equal gaps.

Now, fill the gap with the other set of 16 pieces, 9 cm paper sticks.

Step 03: Making the leaves
Cut 16 pieces of squires 10 x 10 cm, I have used 8 colours. So each colour has only 2 pieces.

Fold the paper by half from the longer edges and make triangle shape, then cut it from the center line as to the picture.

Now, fold this from the longer side of the tringle alternately to the other side. Once finish glue the center to make a leaf.

Do the above process to all the colours. Once finished you should have 32 leaves.

To decorate the leaf I have glued white pearls as to the picture.

Now glue the mirror to the center.

To hand it on the wall attach some code behind the mirror.

That's it, this is my decorative wall hanger 😊
