My Hive Introduction by Railroad McCoy

I understand there's a Hive tradition to offer an introduction post, so...

Hello Hive! Here, I'll go "Railroad McCoy". I'm a high school teacher of history and other things Social Studies.

Since I'm getting somewhat close to retiring, I figure it's time to start branching out with new things, new hobbies and such. I know Hive is a great place for blogging, so I figured I'd set this up for that purpose.

I really don't wish to write a long introduction -- who would read it?! Instead, I'll just let my posts and writings speak for themselves and allow others to get to know me that way, gradually and organically.
