BRAIN DRAIN IN INDIA

Hello steemit, today i am here with my new article titled brain drain in india. This topic is slightly similar to my previous post about unemployment.

Before i start first off all we should understand the meaning of brain drain. This means the movement of highly skilled and qualified people to other country where they can work in a better condition and earn money.

In india brain drain is not a new topic it can be traced from British colonial period. At the british period the British rulers of indian subcontinent force the indian farmers and sugarcane planter to move in other countries such as Guyana in south America, fiji, Mauritius or elsewhere.

But today india is an independent country but brain drain is still there for the following reasons.

  1. high salary paid in foreign country.
  2. lack of employment opportunities.
  3. hope of better and comfortable lifestyle abroad.
  4. prospect of continual learning newer technologies and upgrading skills.
  5. lack of industrial setup and many more.

Admittedly brain from India can not be curbed fully. But it can be lessen to some extent. Here are some indicators that brain drain will be lessen over the coming years.

  1. Indian companies now paying high salary.
  2. make in india(a government of India scheme) project welcomes foreign countries to open business in India.

  3. strict visa regulations by us, eu and other countries. Etc.

Not only india every country should take care of this issue.
